Job Description

A fast-paced logistics company headquartered in El Segundo is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Staff Accountant to support its growing accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career accounting professional looking to develop their skills in a collaborative, hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily accounting operations including AP/AR and general ledger entries

  • Support the month-end close process by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations

  • Help maintain accurate financial records and documentation

  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements

  • Assist with invoicing, billing adjustments, and collections

  • Maintain organized files and support audit and compliance activities

  • Perform data entry and support ad-hoc projects as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or in progress)

  • 1-2 years of accounting experience

  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic understanding of accounting software

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
